Dr. Karen Dixson

President

 

 

Dr. Karen Dixson lives in Clifton Heights, PA. She currently sits on the Board of Governors, and serves as President of Philadelphia International University. Dr. Dixson oversees all departments of the university, and teaches on-campus courses in Psychology on all degree levels. Dr. Dixson is also Bishop of the Evangelical Christian Church in North America. She has held this position for 7 years. She has honed her skills by showing ministries how to tap into their true-self. She has earned a Bachelor, Masters and three Ph.D.’s in the areas of Theology, Philosophy, Human Services, Counseling/Psychotherapy, and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Education. Dr. Dixson has held positions as a professor in secular and Christian colleges, and her passion in the last 26 years has been inspiring and motivating individuals to walk in a state of wholeness that will bring restoration to every aspect of their lives.

 

Dr. David Lavigne

Vice-President
and Chancellor

 

 

Dr. David Lavigne lives in Waterloo, Ontario with his wife Dr. Cynthia Lavigne. He currently sits on the Board of Governors, and serves as Vice-President and Chancellor of Philadelphia International University. David oversees the Department of On-line Learning. His leadership and theological experiences include 25 years as Bishop of the Evangelical Christian Church in Canada (Christian Disciples), and 15 years as President of Waterloo Bible College, Waterloo, Ontario. David has earned a Bachelor in Biblical Theology, Masters in Biblical Theology, and three Doctorates in Ministry, Counselling and Biblical Theology, and a Ph.D. in Theology. Dr. Lavigne’s passion is to work with ministry and lay leaders, as well with those churches and parachurch ministries who desire theological training that is flexible and affordable to their ministry needs.

 

Dr. Cyndy Lavigne

Dean of Students
and Faculty

 

 

Dr. Cynthia M. Lavigne, originally from Montreal, Canada, lives in Waterloo, Ontario with her husband Dr. David P. Lavigne. She serves on the faculty as Dean of Students. Cynthia is also Program Coordinator of the Evangelical Christian Church in Canada (Christian Disciples),

a position she has held since 1999. She also serves as a professor of Waterloo, Bible College.

She has earned a Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate in Theology. Dr. Cynthia Lavigne’s passion is to encourage students in their walk with God through their academic journey so their lives will go on to glorify Him and impact others and bring them to salvation through the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Rev. Jennifer Jackson

Faculty

 

 

Rev. Jennifer Elaine Jackson lives in Philadelphia, PA. She currently sits on the Board of Governors, and serves on the Faculty. Jennifer teaches Special Education and subjects of special interest. In addition to full-time teaching, Jennifer has develop, written, and implemented individual educational programs for students, designed to help meet their specific needs. She has earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Special Education, and continues toward earning a Master Degree in teaching students with visual impairments along with other state requirements in certification. Rev. Jackson holds others teaching careers with the local school district, teaching all grades from K-8, and continues to teach Special Education for those needing support services in Braille instruction.

Dr. Wallace W. Ross, Jr.

Faculty

 

 

Rev. Dr. Wallace W. Ross, Jr. received his Doctorate of Theology from Philadelphia International University (Indiana) and a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Rochville University (Maryland) on June 2015. He earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Theological Seminary (Salisbury, NC) in 1988. In 1985, he embarked on his candidacy to become a licensed Pastor, with the Bell Yeager Free Will Baptist Church in Durham, NC.
He was ordained in 1986. In addition to his pastoral duties, he travelled extensively to teach and preach the word of God all over the world.

Dr. Hurtestine Wilkerson

Dr. Hurtestine Wilkerson resides in Clinton, Mississippi. She sits on various boards and committees in the Mississippi area. She also serves on the faculty as Dean of the Doctoral program. Dr. Wilkerson is an ordained minister of the gospel and she is the wife of the Rev. Dr. James Wilkerson. She has earned a B.A. degree in Psychology; Associate Degree of Divinity; Master and Doctorate Degree in Theology; Master Degree in Ministry; Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling and Doctorate Degree in Philosophy of Biblical Psychology. She has held the position as Dean of Doctoral Christian Counseling Studies; Chairperson of Dissertations Committee at New Foundation Theological Seminary for 10 years. Dr. Wilkerson is a licensed Marriage and Family Christian Therapist, Pastoral Life Coach and Chaplain. Her experiences also consist of teaching Counseling, Theology, Christian Education, Church Administration, Spiritual Leadership, and the development of curriculum for correspondence courses. Her passion is to motivate, train and develop individuals toward their goals academically and spiritually.
